CLAM CHOWDER

 


2 large potatoes2 medium carrots

 

Grind together.  Three-fourths cup chopped celery.


White Sauce:

1/2 cup butter 1 can chopped clams
1/4 cup flour1 can minced clams

4 cups milk


Cover potatoes, carrots and celery with water; add salt to taste, boil till vegetables get done.  Melt butter, add flour and milk, do not boil.  Let get thick.  Add vegetable mixture and clams.
