The world around us has become totally engrossed into themselves.  The uppermost thing in the mind of a worldly person is what they need, want and/or desire.  This is in total opposition of how JESUS was when He came to earth. Everything He did was for the benefit of others.

    We, as a people, are to be like CHRIST.  We should be hospitable, kind, and caring people.  This means that we must put the needs of others ahead of our own!  There are many ways we can display the kindness of our LORD.  When someone comes to visit at dinnertime, we can invite them to join us.  If we know a family is hungry, we can share some of our food with them. If we see a person who is without a coat in the cold weather, we can give them one of ours.  The one thing that we taught our children, though, is that you give them your best coat!  Now this is a sacrifice.

    In being hospitable towards others or sharing what you have with those in need, you are an example of JESUS.  Those who receive, feel genuine love or caring from you!  Many a closed heart has opened wide to receive JESUS because of the kindness of others!  Join with me today and open your heart in kindness!
