These words might seem just a bit harsh to us at first.  Often before we ask ourselves just how and if they apply to our own lives, we thinks of others that we have met that seem overly superficial and uninterested in the things of GOD.

    But as we reread this verse we might end up seeing our own hearts that can, at times, easily wonder from our first love from the weight of our personal and family obligations.  Regardless of our busyness that can include a spouse, children and a job, the LORD never moves from His place of supremacy and honor or expect us to ignore Him.

    It's all too easy to forget all that He means to us throughout the week only to find ourselves offering Him praise and worship on Sunday Morning's in front of family and friends.  We don't mean to live or act this way, to honor the LORD with the words that come our of our mouths only, all the while allowing our hearts to be neutral, without fire and passion for GOD.

    Ok, lack of concern can happen to us, but let us apologize to the LORD today and allow Him the rightful place in our hearts and lives.  As the song says; "Burn baby burn!"

    Join with me today with an open heart before GOD and ask Him to help us never to put Him aside in our lives again as long as we live!
