The above passage is about faith.  It is the kind of faith that can receive the Word of GOD from a human being.  It is the kind of faith that grasps ahold and believes that what GOD says is true.  In other words, it is the kind of faith that sees the words in the Scripture as coming from the mouth of GOD.  This is the kind of faith I always hope to have.  Believing the Bible to be exactly what it says it is, the inspired Word of GOD.  By doing so, we enable ourselves to experience sincere growth in our lives.

    Not only do we experience growth, but we begin to experience a working power and its effective works in our lives.  The Word of GOD actively energizes our lives.  It takes root in our lives and then dynamically works to bring about change in the way we think, feel, and act.  It is this same energizing
work of GOD through His written Word that uses us as vessels of growth in other peoples lives, as well.
