At this time of the year, many people are making New Year's resolutions, because they want to change, or they want to have old habits to die away and new ones to form.  In a way, they are asking for a healing to happen in their lives.  This woman suffered from this illness or disease for 12 years.  Not only that, she had suffered at the hands of others, who in their desire to help her, only further injured her.

    In this world, there are so many quick fix things out there on the market.  Unfortunately, few of them work, and if they do, shortly after you stop using them, what you tried to gain is lost again.  Not so with JESUS!  He is not a gimmick or a quick fix product.  This woman sincerely sought JESUS out for a healing.  And as JESUS Himself said in Mark 5:34 "Daughter, your faith has made you well.  Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

    We must not settle with a 'Owhatever' will be, will be faith.  Instead we must press into JESUS, be willing to touch His cloak.  Be sure to maintain a persistent faith that comes from believing, trusting, and knowing Him.
