"For GOD so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son..."

    Life began with love, and the finest example of love was revealed to us when GOD gave His Son as a gift to the world.  In a much smaller way, but with everything within us, we love GOD and rejoice in His giving us His Son that we might have eternal life by believing in His Name.

    Believers everywhere are preparing to celebrate the coming of the Son to the world.  And love is flourishing in the hearts of us all.  Love for GOD, love for our brothers and sisters in CHRIST, as well as a special love for our families.

    It's common to say we love our parents or our children, but tonight I watched my husband hug our daughter Sarah and her hug him in return.  At that moment I witnessed a beautiful example of a father's love for his child, and how easy it was for her to love him in return.

    We live by this bond of love with our LORD and SAVIOR, and with our family and closest friends.  All in all, the love was given to us originally by GOD, and we delight to follow His example.

    Join with me today with an open heart before GOD and thank Him for His incredible love for us, and the love we have for one another because of His gift of His Son!
