Exodus 23:14
"Three times you shall keep a feast to
Me in the year:"

Yesterday was Thanksgiving.  All over our nation and in many different parts of the world where Americans may be located they celebrated a feast of turkey, ham, and/or a variety of delicious foods.  The point of the feast, however is the same as above.  It is to assemble together and rejoice in GOD'S mercy and grace in our lives.  We take the time away from our common tasks of life to rejoice in the provision that GOD has given us in our lives.  We celebrate our families, and we celebrate life in particular.

As Thanksgiving ends, people all over the world begin to turn their eyes toward preparing for Christmas.  Christmas is another time we feast.  We rejoice over the birth of our
SAVIOR.  In the midst of all the preparation for this time to come, let each of us find time to rejoice that GOD loved us so much that He sent us His Son to be a offering for each one of us.  That offering was the ultimate provision for our eternal lives.

Join with me today, with an open heart before GOD, and rejoice in GOD
'S mercy and grace during this holiday season.
