John 4:6    
"... JESUS therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well."

    Today, I want to talk about being weary.  Each one of us has a busy life and many of us work very hard and become weary.  In this scripture, JESUS had walked a very long distance from Judea into Samaria on His way to Galilee.  Not only had He walked a long distance, it was also late in the day (approximately 6 PM).

    Don't we also feel weary by this time of our day?  Yes, we do.  But at this particular time when JESUS had sat down to rest, a Samaritan woman came up to Him and asked Him a question.  One question was the beginning of a new life for that woman.  JESUS took the time He had set aside for rest to minister to her needs.  She was touched in such a way that she became a believer.  Not only did she become a believer, she even found deliverance from her lifestyle and forgiveness for her sins.

    What a tremendous thing that happened on that day.  For it spread to many others in that village.  We are to be like CHRIST.  When we allow GOD to use us in this way, we are not only a vessel of ministry to them, but to the many others that their life will touch.
