John 3:21
"But he who does the truth comes in the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in GOD."

    We tend to be very busy people.  We are busy caring for our children, our spouse, our friends or family and for ourselves.  Most of us feel as though if we are not busy about our business whether it be home or work that we are lazy.  Sometimes, we can forget to be busy about our spirit.  We are spiritual people.  That day when we asked JESUS to become a part of our life brought opened our eyes to that fact!

    What kind of deeds does the LORD want to be seen?  Is it that we are a parent that brings home the money, but forsakes time with the children to earn it?  Is it that we busy ourselves in keeping our home spotless to the point that people are not able to be comfortable in it?  No and no to both questions.  Our children need their parent more than they need an expensive home and name brand clothing.  As a young mother my home had to be spotless.  But a very nice woman explained to me that my children would only be with me for only 17 years and housework would be with me for my lifetime!  I then chose to spend more time with my children and less with my housework.

    Therefore, the deeds that can be clearly seen by GOD involve the lives of those around us.  It's more than seeing to their basic needs, although that is a part of it.  The most important things are those that develop character in us and in our loved ones.  We instill good character in our loved ones by being kind, loving, forgiving, patient, and giving towards them.  By practicing these characteristics they will become a part of us.  Then, when the LORD looks at us, He will see our deeds.  Our attitude will have changed and what we do will be in GOD!
