Peter 2:4-5

you come to HIM, the
Living Stone-rejected by men but chosen by GOD
and precious to HIM-you
also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy
priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to GOD
through JESUS CHRIST."
GOD,
laid JESUS
as the foundation stone for a heavenly work in HIS
people. JESUS
suffered pain, humiliation, rejection, hatred, and even death at the hands of men.
You, like CHRIST,
have also been chosen to be a living stone. Yes, and you too have likely
suffered at the hands of men. Like CHRIST
who was rejected by those whom GOD
had called HIS
own, you may have been rejected by those whom you call your friends and/or loved ones.
Years of rejection can cause your heart
to become cold, callous, and closed to the LORD.
This is meant by your enemy to draw you far from GOD.
Some suffering people claim their heart
is dead. Not true! Your enemy is undone! GOD
has implanted a seed within you that cannot be stolen or destroyed. Your heart
may feel dead at times, but there is life within it!
If this is speaking to you, cry out to GOD
to open your heart
once again and build your spiritual house. All of your pain and rejection
can be offered up to HIM
as an acceptable sacrifice. HE
is waiting to pour out HIMSELF
in you and give you life in exchange! Don't wait, open
your heart to GOD
and watch HIM
create a new life that all will see.
